This course was in great shape and had some challenging shots. The back 9 was really tough. Really enjoyed the layout and the conditions.

Customer Service

Great! We just walked up and they worked us in on a holiday weekend. We played with a marshall at the course and he was very helpful.

Shoots in the 80s

I played the Texas Star Golf course this past weekend and let me tell you, this is an awesome golf course. The layout is incredible and a lot of difficult holes from the Gold tees (back tees). Every hole, I felt like I needed to shape the ball left to right and right to left. For the price, I would recommend anyone to try and play here. Par 3 14 is a difficult hole because it is uphill 245 yards away. If the wind is in your face, you better pull your driver out..

OVERALL: Private course caliber. The design is excellent, and each hole is very unique. You will find that it tests every club in your bag. I hit the ball 300+, but that is not necessarily an advantage here. Every holes gives you several options and choices to make. There are many ways to play this course, and you will find trouble in all the "right" places. FAIRNESS: Provided that the weather conditions are fair, so is the course. However, number 14 is a 245 yard par 3. I played it yesterday, and the pin was back 12 yrds. (257 yds uphill, into the wind). If you play all the way back get ready for a couple of tough tee shots. There are one or two holes with trees in the way and you will be forced to turn the ball just to find the fairway (it's almost unfair). GREENS: The greens ar large and shapely. They roll great! YARDAGE: The sprinklers are marked to the fron't, middle, and back. PAY ATTENTION to these. Without pinsheets, these will help tremendously. INFO: Check out the twighlight fees. $20 to walk. You can save a bundle.

Shoot in the 80s

This is a very tough and extremely long course designed to test the limits of virtually any level of play. They lost the greens the first year and are hellbent on removing that possibility in the future. The course is maintained with the utmost care and have consistent greens that run fast and break hard. The course is packed with hazards and difficult bunkers and overall has an excellent layout. I would recommend this course to any golfer visiting the area.

Customer Service

Tournament facilities and coordinators are easy to work with and make your group extremely welcome.
