This is one of my favorite layouts in the Houston area. Course is usually not crowded, is in good shape and is challenging. Lots of big trees and more elevation change that one would expect for where the course is located at. As long as you hit it straight you'll have fun here. A lot of quality without a premium price.

Customer Service

The folks who run the course here have always been very nice. Grillroom has good food and the coldest draught beer I've ever had at a golf course. The on-course beverage carts can sometimes be few and far between so stock up when you see them. I have sponsored 2 tournaments at Evergreen and had great support from all the staff.

Roughs were cut short and the beautiful bridges were very pleasant to see.

Trees over hanging into fairways, the water around the course was not only a eyesore but smelled of stagnation.

For the money, this is a sub-par course with many holes that challenge the amateur golfer and would tend to discourage any return.

Customer Service

This is what really turned me against the course at the start, the counter person was really rude. From the time I walked in to the Pro shop to the time we made a wrong turn after finishing the 9th hole, my partner and I felt that this would be the last time we would ever play this course.

In my limited experience, this is by far the best course I've played. It's beautifully planned and well layed out. The course is immaculate and well maintained. The hazards blend into the scenery and make for a fairly tough course. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
