Good mix of easy to difficult holes that makes it playable for a lot of skill levels.

Tee times arent that easy to get at typical peak times. As a single though, I have walked up many times and been able to join a group and go out in less than 30 min.

Great course for the price. I have had great experiences at this course year round.

People are friendly at this course. As earlier stated, I have shown up even on busy weekends and they try to find a spot for you to play.

While the snack bar prices are still high, they are not close to some costs of other equivalent places to play.

Great hole variety. Cheap to walk. Very good pace of play for a truly public course. I've played it 15 times (always during the week, but at different times of day) and never had a round over 4:20.

Tough to make a tee time, but if you go as a single, you'll get on within 30 minutes. Greens are a little slow and condition is good for a muni course, but not what you'd find at more upscale plaes.

Best of Nashville's muni courses, by far. From back tees it can play 6900 yards.

Customer Service

Definitely an old boys club. Staff is a bunch of retired state workers (everyone is over 70) and they definitely have their favorites. This is great if you play there regularly as I do, but might be frustrating for a newcomer.
