I don't think this course goes by the "Medalist" anymore. I believe it is "Landmark at Avalon" or something to that effect. Anyways, great golf course. The fairways are in great condition. The greens can roll very fast and have a lot of undulation, but roll true. Lots of sand, water on only three holes that I remember. Good practice facilities, nice putting green and driving range. My only complaint is there is not a chipping green or bunker to practice out of. The golf carts are very, very nice. Looked brand new and had a nice GPS system.

Guy at the front desk was friendly as were the guys taking care of the carts. Actually one guy brought a golf cart to me in the parking lot and was extremely friendly. Had a few beers and a bite to eat after the round. Far and away the best food I have ever eaten at a golf course. Try the "Avalon Burger." Didn't hurt that the girl bar tending was easy on the eyes either.

great course for $35 dollars.the course is in great shape with very fast ungulating greens.most hole are tour length from the black tee's,so you can hit a 300 yard drive and still have 150 or more on most of the par 4's.this course offers around 38 bunkers and water come's into play on 6 hole hole's including a fantastic 18th hole.they also have a complete practice facility including greens,and driving range.
