I thought that the fairways were ok. I say this courseis worth maybe 40.00 a round. Green were in nice shape. There is one par 3 right by the enterence that I like the best. I give this course 3 stars overall.

Customer service was below average. The guys were ok but are not going to go out of way to help you in any sort.

what a piece of s...!!! this golf course is not a golf course, IT IS A MISTAKE! the yardage is a lie, the head pro is an a.., he should be kicked out of the pga(he somehow got in) ward sheldon is his name what a wast of space he is!

Use all of the clubs in your bag. Each hole is different.

Fairways are always a little wet in trying to keep the green look that everyone believes makes a good golf course. I don't agree with that but apparently I am in a minority. The fairways in Scotland are brownish/yellow/green and you get great lies and the ball runs and you can hit all type of shots - bump and run, pitch, etc. You don't need 'green' to be good, you need firm. Rememember, Augusta National has a different operating budget than most clubs. They can get 'green AND firm'. I have a lot more thoughts on this issue but now I'll step off my podium.

This is one of the older courses in the Myrtle Beach area. It is not overly long, 6,200+ yards from the back tees. But what I like about this course is that every hole has a different look. You can't just swing hard and expect to score well. You need to place your tee shot in the correct position in order to have a good shot at the flagstick.
It has several short par fours that require you to leave the driver in the bag. Many of the greens are elevated which requires a high shot that is shaped properly. The finishing hole is as good a hole as you will find in most places.
Their ads claim the "best bentgrass greens in the area." They are good but not the best but they hold a shot and they putt true.
Hoels runrather close to each other as they have limited space. Need to watch for other golfers on a few holes. Also, the usual homes are nearby but if you focus on the shot at hand the houses will not come into play.
Overall, it's a fun course to play that will test just about every club in your bag. It will not overwhelm you with majestic beauty but you will not be bored.
