course maintenance

Another MB course in decline. This used to be a very nice "average" course for Myrtle Beach area. I enjoyed playing it. It is now pretty sad. Maintenance is shabby and as are many courses now in MB I have heard it is in or near bancruptcy. Would sadly stay away from here.

Quality staff and great maintainence crew. $35 for 18 holes including cart in October can't be beat ($23 replays). Beautiful course compared to some Myrtle Beach courses. Located away from all the Myrtle Beach crowd.

The only problem we had was bad timing. They were overseeding the day we got there. The greens were covered with seeds and hard to putt on line especially in the morning dew. And it was cart paths only because of the seeding. But like I said it was "our" bad timing, still had a great time.

I loved this course. During our 4 day Myrtle Beach golf vacation we ended up playing this course 3 times (with replays). This is a very well maintained and beautiful course. A great course for mid or high handicappers and challenging enough for low handicaps. There is not too much water that comes into play here but a straight drive off the tee is manditory on this course, dense woods comes into play on almost every hole on the right and left side. Straighten out your hook or slice before you come here or you will donate plenty of balls.
