Clubhouse is a joke. Staff is a joke. Whole clubhouse smells like the s^%#hole bathrooms they have. Buliding in falling down. Bar and food looks like a f#$@ing cafeteria in a slum. DUMP! DUMP! Dump!

Very unique course out in the swamp. Memorable holes that keep you thinking. Great condition-fairways,greens,tees. Definitely worth a short drive.

My favorite course among the four I played in my first trip to Myrtle Beach. The course was in very good condition in May and the layout and natural surroundings are awesome! A very challenging course for mid-handicapper.

the majority of the holes are all isolated, this place is carved out of the swamp and you think every hole is your own. excellent condition, however the greens have not fully taken to the overseeding

Greens were a bit hard but not to awful bad for summer time.

Good course .... fairways, tee boxes were in good shape.
The greens were a little hard and the ball ran toward the back of most greens if you hit anywhere near the pins. Over all a good course that makes you think a bit. Club house was well stocked and the employees were friendly.
I enjoyed it and will play again in the future. Thanks.

The natural settings of the Witch are great: trees, water, sand, brush and grass. Fair and fun for scratch and hack alike. Good ratres for an afternoon- easy to get on.

Greens and Tees were not maintained at all- I'm assuming that during the peak season they are treated regularly. If they were in better shape, this course gets a higher rating, but let's face it this is two integral parts of the game, and without them, it can be a little difficult. Pro shop was closed when we finished out- at 6:00PM!!!

Probably a great course during the peak season. Greens and Tees seemed to be "winterized"(prepared for the off season) which made them poor, hard and fast(at least consistently so). The fairways were a little overgrown, but soft and hitable.

The back nine has some great holes.

The greens were some of the worst I have ever played. Very bumpy and di not run true. Speeds varied from hole to hole.

The routing on this course is very good. The course builds from the first few easy holes to solid holes in the middle stretch to quality finishing holes. You do not need to pull out driver on every hole. You need to think your way through several holes. The tees were in good shape as were the fairways. I was very disappointed in the greens. They were bumpy and the speed varied from green to green. This makes for a very frustrating round of golf when you can't trust the greens. The greens are Bermuda and should have been fine during the month of June when we played.
A very good course if the greens were just average but I have to downgrade my rating due to greens representing 40% of most peoples score.

The beautiful setting, nice clubhouse, variety in layout and course design.

two holes near the road are a little distracting, but it's nothing a row of pines wouldn't solve.

I loved the setting for this course. You don't see a house or anything except for a couple of the first holes that are near the clubhouse and the road. There is considerable variety in the layout with nice woodlands and marshlands with cart bridges and the like. I would consider playing this one every time I come to Myrtle. I agree with the other reviewer that it was like a nature walk. The marshlands add to the beauty, but don't come in to play really in any penal way. Highly recommend it.

I thought this was a great course. I like courses where you never see a house, or hear anything but natural surroundings. It feels as though you are on a "nature" walk somewhere. The fairways were maybe the best i've ever played, and the greens were in good shape as well. I think the witch advertises that they have like a half mile of bridges on the couse. All of these bridges are going over marshlands, ITS BEAUTIFUL!! PS: dont play the wizard.
