Shoots in the 90s
The starter (old lady) and ranger (old man) are discriminatory people. While on the practice green the starter stated to me that "you people" wait too long to hit. She also threatened us if we didn't keep pace we would be banned from this course. That statement is ridiculous considering we never had any prior issues of pace of play. We would of left if they would refund our money so we continued to play. When walking to the green my push cart was on the rough not far from the cart path when the ranger drove up and yelled at me for not having my push cart on the cart path. He also threatened us that we would be banned. The course is in decent shape but the starter and ranger are horrible. It ruined my round and I will definitely not return. If you like being treated like a child, threatened, and discriminated upon then this course is for you. I've never been treated this way at any other course I've played. Playing at Melody Hills was the WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!! |

Just like everyone else says, the people patroling the course are out of line. This is prob 1 of the bottem end golf courses that is still normal size and par. The problem is, they bother you the most. I dont get it. Courses that charge more and have nicer grass seem to never have anyone out to bother you. Melody Hills on the other hand, likes to bother you. Customer Service People inside clubside are nice, people outside, not so nice. |

Well I had played here a couple time since the price is unbeatable and the course is decent. Being a new player I make some bad shot from time to time. Well I was out with three friends playing 9-holes later in the day and there was only 1 group behind us. We were slowing them down by a good 5-10 minutes everyhole, so when we got to the par-3 we stopped and let them play through. All of a sudden the 'Ranger' Paul comes up to us and starts yelling at us for letting them play through. We try to explain but he kept berating us and persisting with belegerant comments. We finally get him to calm down after we tell him we want our money back and he says no just finish playing. Then he follows us for the rest of the course watching in the background like were juveniles. Worse experience playing golf ever. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE. I also wrote an article for the local paper. Customer Service None. |

I arived at the course 9-11-03 as a single. The tee was open and the starter explained the hole layout and said I could tee off. I caught up to a foursome on the fourth hole. On the fifth tee I hit 2 tee balls and one iron to the green. The sixth tee had two foursomes, I went back to the fifth green and chipped and putted for a few minutes as nobody was behind me. When the tee cleared, I brought my bag to the blue tee to select a club. There is only one yardage on the card and I was not sure which tee it was measured from. At that point all hell broke out!!.. Said his name was Paul(he worked at the course) Granted, I was wrong by bringing my bag on the tee, He belligerently charged the tee yelling That f-----g a--holes like me who bring their bags on the tee and hit more than one ball, don;t replace divots or ball-marks are ruining the course. I have always respected the golf course and replace divots as well as ball marks on the green. I told him that and he said that if I wanted to hit more than one ball on any given hole that I better get my a-back to the clubhouse and pay additional green fees for each ball that I wanted to hit. I told him he was out of line with his expletives and he said, so what the f--k are you going to do about it you f-----g a--hole. I was wrong bringing the bag to the tee, and it may not be the smartest thing in hitting an extra ball from time to time, However, I am sixty years old, not in the greatest of health, 20 years ago, if this happened there would have been a blood bath on the tee and liability for the course. This guy needs to be on a leash................. Customer Service excellent |

This course has a very nice layout but needs a lot of work on both the fairways and greens. Similar Products Used: None |
