The course layout is great.

Poor maintenance practices.

This course has the potential to be the best course in Central PA, however, the current management team is running this course into ruin. The greens can only be described as SLOWWWWWWWWW and Bumpy. The bunkers are the worst I have ever seen. There are more ROCKS in these bunkers then sand. I would advise playing the bunkers as ground under repair, unless you don't mind replacing your wedges after playing a round. The course has NO RANGERS, so if you are one of those golfers that like to drive your cart on the tee boxes and greens this is the course for you.

Customer service is lacking in all areas.

Bent grass fairways tees and greens.Well layed out and pleasing to the eyes.Tough greens.

Traps and managment.

Over all great course,needs to be taken better care of.Lots of elevation change very few flatt lies except tee.Lots of traps and some of them are very bad condition I think that they grow rocks.lol.Greens are not easy but are getting easier each year under bad course managment.Love the layout. 4 distinctly different sets of tees.Reachable par 4's and a couple hard to reach in 2.short and long par3's.4 really great par 5's.

Awesome. Its a pretty course, with a lot of character. You can play from easy to moderate to humiliating.

The greens are in above average shape, which is odd since I was told the greens made the course. Indeed they are tough, but not as manicured as you would expect from everything else. The layout is an 8, the length can be a factor if you choose it to be, though I don't think it (at least I didn't score a gret deal differently.) has a big impact.

The facilities are top notch and service is excellent. The practice green needs some improvement, as does the range, but all in all its a cut above the rest.
