Some may consider the quickness of the greens a little unfair, limited driving range facilities.

Tough, old course with some of the slickest greens around. The layout is good, but I have heard some golfers complain that it is a little quirky. Overall, very good test of your golf skills - especially around the greens. And the moat hole is a classic.

Variety of holes: moat hole, holes with streams to cross, pond to drive across, varied tee box elevations, side hills, up hills, down hills, blind shots, what more can you ask! A great restaurant with a fantastic view.

None, It is an old course with character that one cannot find in the "new" courses.

Have played Galen Hall since a teen in the 1960''s. Always found it a challenging course that requires use of all the clubs and all types of shots. Greens are a challenge but fair. Moat hole is a classic. Even though the course can be difficult, you want to keep coming back. Lovely mountain course with scenery.

Galen Hall is an excellent course, with challenging greens and is well maintained. I have played this course for a number of years and feel it is one of the top courses in Berks county. Green fees are between $25-$40. The course is typically is excellent shape.
