This palce was a real mess. The greens were not mowed, they were slow and almost fairway length. The fairways had dead spots and dirt piles on them. The rough was up to 2 feet high in places.

Customer Service

ok, but I could tell the lady in the pro shop was having a very bad day.

This is a good beginner's course - after spending your first year on a par 3 only course, you can come here on your second year. As soon as you break 110, or maybe even 120, you should leave and find somewhere else to play. Except for the convenient location, things here are below average comparing to other regular length courses.

the only reason why i play at vally forge is because it is close the fairways are in terrible condition, the greens are slow, the grounds crew sometimes are changing holes when you are playing them, the bunkers are never raked, and the last two holes have many large holes in the middle of the fairways.

I enjoy playing the course: it's accessible and a beautiful bit of green in a land of concrete. For some it'll be an easy course if you can stay in the fairway. There is no underground watering system which means you play golf as it was meant to be played: by the condition of the course as dictated by nature. It's a good course for the fees being asked.

Customer Service

Always friendly and eager to help.

I think that this course is very good for the money. If you go after 2 the fee is $10-18. The course is in pretty good shape for not having on course water. If there has not been much rain for a long time the fairways do get dry. The greens are very slow but are kept in fairly good condition. The tees are in decent condition but some do have quite a few divots. Valley Forge is also opening a driving range which looks to be nice. Overall, I enjoy playing the course.

Customer Service

Tee times are available throughout the day with good service from the pros.

This course is not in great shape. The greens are not very well kept. If you are off the fairways, it is VERY easy to lose balls, as the rough is rarely mowed. Lots of uneven lies in the fairways. Very few risk/reward opportunities here, you just sort of grab the right club and go for the green. Yardage makers seem to be a little off. Very few bunkers will kill your score, as they are hard packed enough that you can pick out of most of them. No water anywhere. Most holes have PLENTY of room to slice or hook, as trees only really come into play on a handful of holes, but once again, if you get off the fairway you might take awhile to find your ball. Easy to get to, pretty good location, although you can almost always see roads from wherever you are standing on the golf course.
