Greens very well maintained; no blind tee shots; varying lengths of holes offer opportunities for longballers and shorter hitters alike. #8 in particular is a great hole, a par-5 with a severely tiered green that will reward a well-placed approach but punish someone who goes for it in 2 but misses.

no water hazards to speak of; #4 green is impossible to hold unless you can hit a high-trajectory 7 or 8 iron 170 yards; overall the course is not very long, although 3 and 6 play fairly long.

CCCC is a flat, 9-hole course that is generally well maintained by club pro Lou Michaels and his staff. The short layout and leack of 18 holes tends to clog things up on busy days, but overall it is a nice course.
