The course is well maintained for a short course. Par 29 front second time around par 30. Fairways are narrow,short holes are very short, but allows for work on iron game. Priced right for the $$. Just don't expect a regulation course. Weekdays are less crowded. No tee time to deal with. On Center Street though name might throw some.

Wonder ful pitch and put course. some difficult shots even for scratch golfers. A must for any Golfer in Salem. Forget the range this is a way better warm up and work out. You will use just about every club in your bag. o ya The people are the freinliest in salem. I truly love this course. i will play evrtime I go to Salem.

Auburn definitely has well maintained grass, & fairways that encourage only the straightest of shots, which greatly aide beginners.

With the size of Auburn in mind, one cannot reach for anything below a 3 iron, so a full rotation of clubs cannot be practiced.

At $5.50 for students, this is a great place to visit daily to improve your irons without any embarassment. Auburn is a definitely well maintained pitch & putt course & easilly alows one to work a brief 9 holes into his or her schedule. There are definitely fast greens, for they are kept up nicely. There isn't a better place in the area for a beginner's first few experiences.
