Layout and challenges

Pro shop staff was great. Membership chairman didn't extend any hospitality towards a perspective new member. Allowed me to "view" the course by driving the cart path only. Said if he thought I was "more serious" he would set me up with a member. Talked with a few member while on my "ride". Some snobbism but most displayed disgust with the boardmembers. I can see why. A beautiful course with a few dandelions in the clubhouse. Beautiful swans in the pond..nice touch!

Great course layout.

There was 1 hole (11?) on the back 9, a short par 4 where your approach shot had to carry a huge gorge. The green had extreme slant to it. I thought it was a bit much, but that's golf!

The course is beautiful. And the houses surrounding the course are some of the most beautiful that I've seen in central Oregon. Beautiful clubhouse. Very classy operation.

Middle of the road. I was treated a bit like an outsider. But I am. This is a very exclusive club.
