I was a member of Karsten Creek for 3 years while my kids attended OSU. I played college golf on a golf scholarship and currently play to a 2 handicap. I always played the Cowboy Tees as a true Massochist. The best round I had at Karsten over 3 years was 80 that I shot wearing flowing robes and sandals. And more impressive to me and Wes in the pro shop was that I did it with a single Pro V1, considering each of 18 holes has lost ball right and left for stroke and distance. If you want to be tested, seek no further, grasshopper. Play on 13 speed greens and fairways with no rolll. Strap it on and prepare to be humbled.

Very sweet track. Friend of mine had a raincheck from the course a year ago and that is the only reason I was able to play. Will cost you around $200 if you don't play with a member. Under 3,000 rounds a year. Very good shape. Joined up with a couple local members who were very nice and informed me of where notto hit it. Shop staff was friendly and courteous even though I was using a rain check. Very walkable course. Last couple holes are most memorable, winding around a huge lake. When I played last Spring they were already gearing up for the NCAA's. I talked to a greens keeper before going off and he said the greens were running at about 11. Started off playing the orange cowboy tees (way back), but quickly moved up to the Fazio tees (black). If you ever have a chance to play Karsten Creek you won't be let down.

Great member driving range. Also have OSU cowboy driving range that you can barely see from a couple holes. Nice.

Condition of course, flexibility of layout, smooth greens, scenic layout, friendly staff, new club house is beautiful and the food is great to boot! Another bonus - tree lined fairways up until the last three holes make you think you are the only group on the course.

Not cheap but worth the coin! If you are having a bad day lost balls are going to be costly.

As good as it gets ANYWHERE. With a course of this caliber its a matter of taste in design. I am a Fazio fan and think this is one of his best. The conditions are top shelf. The course is great for any level of golfer but if you try to bite of more than you can chew it will be a long day. Hit it straight and from the right set of tees and you will be rewarded. Only complaint is the severe penalty of the steep fairway bunkers - land in one of those and you are playing for double. Never a bad lie on these gorgeous fairways.

This is an absolutly amazing golf course. It is in pristine condition and everyone is nice. I live in a golf mecca in the Houston area and I have not found any course that compares to this. The best bent grass greens i have ever played on, they roll so smooth. IF you are in the area it is worth your dollar to play this course, which i consider one of Tom Fazio''s best.

The best course in Oklahoma. No wonder it is hosting the NCAA championship tournament. Tight and plush. Bring your control or bring 4 dozen golf balls. Green fees are too high for a semi-private course but if you want to find out where your game is then this is the test. It is Oklahoma State University's home course and that I am sure helped them win the 2000 NCAA championship
