Shoots in the 90s

Within the vague rectangle formed by OKC, Shawnee, Tulsa, and Stillwater, this is the best small-town course around. That's not saying a lot, really, but there are several such courses. It's a nine-hole layout that plays short, and makes up for brevity with tricky greens; it's easy to roll one right off almost any green. Still, there is a reasonable amount of variety from hole to hole, the greens stay in fairly good shape, and the scenery value is quite nice.

Three-putts abound on small greens with challenging pin-placements. Nine interesting holes. If you can't control your hook, bring an extra sleeve of balls to replace the ones you'll leave at the bottom of Chandler Lake, and in various fairway -hugging wooded areas (although you're likely to find more than you lose.) The practice facilities are weak, and the fairways can be dry, but I like to play here at least once a year. However challenging the course, the people are friendly, it's reasonably priced, and it's rarely backed up.

Customer Service

Minimal pro-shop. Cordial service.

Good course to stop and take a few hours off from I-44. It's calm and there is hardly ever a large crowd. 9-Holes means its fast enough to play and still make an appointment from OKC to Tulsa.
