atrocious conditions and poorly maintained course the fairways were the same length as the rough, the greens were SLOW and poor you read a break right and your ball skips left off a crater, despite poor conditions the layout was nice and challenging with a few long par 5's and tough par 3's over water and bunkers, if this course was kept up at all it would be nice, also SLOW pace of play we ran into numerous groups stacked on holes waiting with no course ranger to speed it up

I have been golfing for 60+ years and found this diamond of a course hidden at the end of Hilliard Rd in Westlake. Great challange even greater people.

Excellent. After 2 times at the course they greeted me by my first name.

They have finally begun to cut the fairways so as to differentiate them from the short rough. I have noticed that the greens, although typically lush, are receiving an extra regular cut. They used to be like putting through mayonaise. The closer cut is making them alot more interesting and quick.

The overseeded greens are great, but they need to be cut down in order to keep them fast.

I have played this course over a period of many years. It is encouraging that they have continued to make course improvements in an overall pleasing and well laid out course. Newer tee boxes have lengthened an already tight course and much more trouble comes into play. Gone are the days when you could play this course with four clubs and score by just keeping it in the short stuff.

Overall this is a very good course for established golfers. Trees, Water and Sand are a factor on most holes and that makes it difficult. Greens are usually well taken care of and it you can the wrong spot they can be difficult.

Layout of holes, varied and interesting. Conditioning, is good for a public course.

Not enough difference between the fairways and the greens, and the greens could be slightly faster, allowing the contours to come into effect.

Good test of golf. Quality conditions, with medium speed greens. Nice layout with water in play on 10 holes. Heavily wooded with old trees. Varied tee locations and distances make this a test for all who play.
