I'm not a great golfer, but I love to play. Sable creek has a great staff. The course is well kept at all times (I play there with a league once a week) For the best expierence, go during the week.

Quite possibly the best value in Stark County. Yes, it can get crowded on the weekends, but what do you expect when greens fees with cart are only $35.00? Most other courses are over 40 bucks and NOT AS NICE!!!!!!! For a real challenge, play the Maroon and Black nines from the blue tees; deceptively long 6800 yards.

The tees, fairways, and greens were in very good shape for a public course subjected to so much play. I was impressed with how nice things were.

The tees on many of the holes are too close to the greens. Throughout the day while we were waiting at the tee there would be errant shots coming very close to us from the previous hole. Because of this and the blasted waiting on every shot I can say that I will not play this course again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. There are far and away many more courses in Northeast Ohio to choose from.

This course is in good shape considering it was built in 2000. However, I wouldn't recommend it because of the poor experience I had when I played there. True, I played on Sunday in June--Father's Day. However, they had FAR too many people on the course. We virtually had to wait for every single shot. Even on the most crowded of courses you eventually find a rhythm where you might wait at each tee, but you shouldn't have to wait for every shot in between. That was the case here. We had to wait 2-3 minutes between EVERY shot (except putts of course). I later learned that they had foursomes going off every 6 minutes. Maybe it's not so crowded at other times.

Course design, tough course to score well on.

Still repairing some recent flood damage. Poor landscaping in some areas.

Great course in remote location. Very well kept greens and fairways. Tees see a lot of use. Deceptively challenging and a great bargain for a weekend 18.
