I hadn't been to Emerald Woods for 15 or 20 years, and it may be that long until next time. At 27 the course is way over priced considering you can play some really high quality courses in the area for a lot less. Much of the rough was way too deep to get the ball out. The cups had grass growing over the edges, which means that they hadn't been changed for at least a few days. The greens were in decent shape, other than the fact that they were cut way too long. You were much better off riding on the grass than the cart paths, because of their disrepair.
The only good thing I can say is that the grass was green.

Customer Service

Had a coupon that had expired by 4 days, and couldn't use it. I was offered the cash value, which meant that the course had gotten their money already, but refused to honor it. I was going to the course and try it out, and won't be back. It cost them more that the additional 14 they charged me.

Patchy fairways.

If you go there I urge you to play the Pine Valley/St Andrews 18. These are as challenging as you would need. The Other 18 is a bit simple and straight forwrd.
