Great old Donald Ross design; 2 18-hole courses, North and South; small greens, lots of trees. You need to be able to work the ball both ways and your short game needs to be on track to score here. Best value for your dollar. Flat enough to walk easily. Great, old-fashioned honest course, and tough. Customer Service better than you would anticipate, considering this is a municipal course, not a country club. |

As you tee off and play along you'll find yourself saying to yourself "Gee, this is a really nice layout". Well, no "S", Sherlock; it was designed by the one and only Donald Ross.
Customer Service Serve up the "Colbassy" and IC! Similar Products Used: Donald Ross couses wherever I have found them, inspired first by my experience here. |

An absolutely beautiful course. It has to be one of the top 3 in the area. There are two full 18 holes broken up a North and South sides. You can also play any of the 4 groups of 9 holes. The North 18 are a bit easier and the fairways more open. The South 18 felt much more challenging. Not many water hazards, but I hope you like trees. This place has lots of them, since they're part of the Metropark system. They're also expanding some of the bunkers which seem to enjoy sucking the ball in. The North bunkers were more shallow than the South and the South had some of those nasty sand trap lips. Customer Service Pretty good. Some staff is a bit "stuffy" like the stereotypical "golf guy". Others are very friendly. Similar Products Used: The snack bar is pretty good and they'll cook burgers and hot dogs and that type of stuff for you. |
