Love the course all the way around...It played very challenging...just stay out of the rough and you will score preety good

A good mix of short, medium and long par 4 holes. Good, fast, undulating greens. Probably my favourite greens in the Raleigh Area.

The par threes are between 190 and 230 yards. I like to see a short par 3 on every course. Also the par 5''s are all about the same length.

A challenging but fair course - over 7000 yards from the tips but no really long holes on the course. Good fairways, low rough, very true greens. My favorite hole is the 14th, a 192 yard uphill par 3 with huge rocks on the left and water on the right - par is really good anytime the pin is near to the back of the green.

I''ve never had a problem getting a tee time or with any other service. I''ve even been able to walk playing in the afternoon, many courses do not allow walking at all.

Fairways and greens. Somehow you can still get a tee time for a weekend round even if you call them Thursday.

Large green makes you 3-putt. Plays longer than the actual yardage since many holes are up-hill.

Played almost every public courses around Raleigh area, still this is the best. Greens and Fairways are always in excellent condition. Layout is a bit challenging, but due to generous tee shot landing area, high handicappers can still have fun. Tee selection from 5,000 to 7,000+ gives you a totally different look and feel based on where you tee-up. Some par 4s you need accurate long iron instead of driver. Large greens, but sometimes hard to read. Overall, if you'are coming to Raleigh and don't know where to play, this is the one. (except some great courses in Pinehurst area)
