Larkhaven is sort of a hidden gem in the area, although "gem" might be a little extreme. It's a very interesting layout, highlighted by an opening par-4 over a stream, up a steep hill. However, those with major power can go for the green. The 9th is another neat hole -- 180 yard par-3 (from the whites) off of a cliff/steep hill over a pond. Greens aren't too fast, but aren't always pristine, and the rough is pretty forgiving. Their driving range has been replaced with a housing development, so if you like to warm up before playing, that's a problem. They're supposedly building a new one, but they've said that for a while. It's a good place to go if you're fairly new to the game, and the price is right.
