I wasn't overly impressed with this course. Pace of play was horrible. Played behind some old guys who I was concerned were not going to make it into the clubhouse due to health reasons. The course itself is simply basic. It was also kind of annoying having a guy cut the fairways on basically every hole we played on. Give me a break. The back nine contains some goofy holes. What's with #10? Talk about no flat lie anywhere. And the conditions were less then average. Doubtful I would return.

The dude in the pro shop seemed lost when he tried to check us in. Typical muni staff I would say.

Donald Ross design allows you to imagine playing in 1920's with Bobby Jones.

Cold weather water on the course does take some of the fun out of a round.

Great fun. Challenging but fair. Old school design (compliments to Donald Ross). Frost delay in December but wait to play full 18 is worth it. Back nine is beautiful meander throug the hills and terrain.

I played the front nine three times and the back nine once. Interestingly enough, I played best on the back nine. Concentration and shotmaking is what it is all about.
