I just recently joined Mohawk Golf Club. What a wonderful place. The lockerhouse, 19th hole, cigar room, bar and dinning room are excellent. The social environment (for both men and women) is second to none. A regular Friday evening includes 75++ members having drinks/appetizers and dinner. The golf course is exploding with history and tradition (much like courses in Scotland). If you want the real deal -- try Mohawk Golf Club, you will not be disappointed.

Turf quality A+, as is the quality of membersip in this private club. As typical of a course designed over 100 years ago, the strength of this track is in its subtle bounces and unannounced hazards that sneak up on you. Fun to play the second time!

None really, although some might not like the fact that the most difficult hole on the course is #1.

Mohawk is representative of the best that can be in terms of a quality golf course in this part of the country. A membership that requires only the very best of conditions takes great pride in this jewel. A demanding test that reqires local knowlege to master. Its a privilidge to be invited to play this course.
