It is well manicured. They have a driving range with multiple targets very close to the clubhouse and first tee. There is also a good chipping and sand practice area. A few holes at Casperkill require interesting uphill approaches. Greens and tees are in great condition.

For long hitters, the course may play a bit short. Other than that, t is great for everyone.

Casperkill Country Club is an all-around good course. It has a layout that forces all golfers to think about each shot they play. All the par 5s from the whites are under 500, and can be reached in 2. The toughest part of the course is the small, protected greens.

It was very pleasing. The starter was very nice, and i actually received 2 golfballs from him for free.(It could be because i am a junior, nut they were courteous anyway).

RTJ Sr. put together a real test of golf at casperkill. Many of the holes have elevated tee boxes and the approaches are to uphill greens surrounded by large bunkers. The greens are very fast, undulated and in good shape. The course gets a great deal of play so a tee time is required. The number 3 par three is a pretty hole which requires a carry over water to a narrow green, birdie is possible but double is also a possibility.

This is an excellent classic Hudson Valley course--one of the best public access course in the mid hudson valley. it plays fair and is well maintained. the prices are reasonable for this quality--about $31 to walk mid week and the staff--including rangers and starters are a pleasure to work with. The course is a model of its kind and a bargain when compared with the major and more difficulet courses nearby--Garrison and the Irish style Links at Uniondale

Outrageous prices

Course is beautiful. Many great holes. The course is kept in great shape. I used to play there a lot when it was the old IBM Country Club. Now it is privately owned and the prices are outrageous.
