Shoots in the 80s

Course is in good shape particularly with the extreme heat this summer. Routing of course is back and forth in some spots where the design loses a bit of interest. Pretty wide open, you can spray the ball and get away with it. Some drivable par 4's and several of the Par 5's are on the short side. A good course to get your confidence back.

Customer Service

At times the response from staff can be a bit brusque. Can work on their people skills a bit.

Shoots in the 80s

Blue Hill offers 3 nine hole courses. Pines and Lakeside are the more challenging, while Woodlands offers a nice change, being more tree-lined and narrow. A fun course from either the white or blue tees. Several dogleg par 4's keep your driver in the bag, while a few par 5's offer a chance at reaching in 2. Conditions are excellent for a public course that gets alot of play. Fairways and greens always in good shape. Highly recommended. Additional forward tees recently added (beginners/juniors).

Customer Service

Friendly service. Good pace of play.

Blue Hill is a semi-private course in Pearl River, NY. It's is made up of three nine-hole courses, each a satisfying golf experience. On less than busy days, you can request which two nine hole course to constitute your round.

This course is kept in excellent shape, remarkable considering the high volume each and every day. The tee boxes are all level and well maintained. The fairways are straight and fairly narrow with the rough playable and not overly thick. The greens are large and very receptive to approaches. They are maintained beautifully and putt true, a little on the fast side. The course travels back and forth through some sparsely wooded grounds. Water comes into play on a few holes, but overall, the only real trouble areas are the tight fairways. Definitely a course to shoot well on if your hitting 'em straight.

For the big hitters, there are a few reachable par 4's througout the three courses offering a very nice challenge. The attempt is not without risk, however.

Greens fees are about $35 or so for non-residents with carts extra. It's not a very difficult course to walk, so if that's an option for, go for it.

Overall, a pleasurable golf experience with some nice challenges. A recommended stop if in the area.
