Western Turnpike is a semi-private course which is fairly well maintained throughtout the year. It has a swimming an tennis courts in which members have access. Three different nines which offer slightly different variations in their view of the course. Fairly level course although some nines are on different elevations. Greens are medium fast and are generally maintained well. For the immediate city of Albany, it offers a better choice than Albany Muni.
