The course strengths are the way in works with the geographic location to make for a difficult and challenging golf experience.

It's a private club so if you don't know the right people you can't play!

This is a lovely course located at a private club that I've had the good fortune of playing a few times since I leave very close to the club. It is definitly a tough course, especially if the wind is blowing off the ocean. The fairways are average to narrow but the killer is the deep sand traps and especially the think beach grass on most of the back nine. If you don't keep your ball on the fairways it'll make for a long day. (I once shot a 137 at this course!) Two interesting par 3's, the 8th and 14th take advantage of the beach proximity of this course -- there are no fairways or any greenery of any kind on these two holes. If you ball misses the green you're basically on the beach -- not just a sand trap but deep think BEACH sand awaits you.

Overall I love playing at this course and it is a challenge every time out.
