NEVER AGAIN, DON'T GOLF HERE. The greens are kept up horribly. The greens fees are through the roof, for the quality that's provided. The sad part is I was ok with this but the staff, complete jerks and I've never made a formal complaint with any company before but this is just UNFORGIVABLE. The attendant behind the counter accused me of playing more than 18 holes, called me a LIAR and seemingly expected me to pay extra because I took longer than 4 hours to play 18 holes (mind you I stopped in to get lunch after the 9th hole which took 45 mins and he was standing 15 feet from me as well as let people pass me). DON'T GOLF HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CALLED NAMES. I am APPALLED and the owner should be ashamed of this establishment! I'm telling everyone I know and posting this at every website I can find, WHAT A GREAT WAY TO SPEND MY 2011 LABOR DAY!

This course is a disgrace to the game of golf. golf is a game of beautiful views and this course makes me want to throw up when i go there. The mini golf greens and chip and putt greens are truer then the greens on the Real course. There are way too many hackers out there and if you are trying to improve you game dont go to springfield because it will take you all day.

Customer Service

The Owner is a cheap b**** and has the bank role of a jewish person. Everytime i came to the course i snuck on and no one knows because they are all dumb as a pile of dirt. and they are also the biggest alcoholics you will ever meet in your life. although you may get a good laugh there is nothing funny about it
The only good employee they have ever had was Tim Zollins he was a Nice and considerate person.

I live within 2 miles of Burlington C.C., Deerwood and this course and Springfield is the ugly step sister. It is short and flat. Leave the woods at home and bring wedges and a rescue club. Keep in mind that this course gets plenty of rounds a year so it gets worn quickly. Greens are at a low stimp and do not drain well, but at least they are consistant. There are some tricky putts on #1, #8, #12, & #15. Fairways often are not cut short enough. Wet is the word for much of the course. The biggest downside is slow play, young hackers, old geezers and MANY GEESE. The biggest challenge is sidestepping the millions of "presents" left by the Canada dirty bird. "fore" is most often heard here as the holes run very close together. It is not uncommon to have a ball fly by the tee box from another hole.

Customer Service

Friendly clubhouse people. Good driving range, chip and putt and sometimes good putting green. Ranger are courteous and are seen but not hear, unless it is necessary to move people along or get on the young punks who frequent the place.

Would be an easy course considering the short distance of most of the holes, but was considerably difficult due to the lack of maintenance on the tees, fairway, and greens. Everything was too close together. 2 of the Tee boxes were litterally next to each other. Fairways seemed to run into each other. Cart paths (where there were paths) were poorly maintained and near impossible to ride on. Also, make sure you have plenty of sun screen as the carts don't have tops.

Ok, I played the course last weekend (3/27/04) and for the money I had a good time. I was only the second person on the course, so I really can't tell you about the pace of play. But I can say a group let me tee off first since I was by myself. It cost me $15, and it was worth the money, but it wouldn't be worth much more. It's a step above Kresson, but not a big one. The greens are probably the biggest difference. They putt very slow, but at least they don't feel spoungey. And I personally quickly learned not to trust the yardages. I would say if you had $20+/- and only about 3 hours to play, go ahead and play it. If you are looking for a beautiful experience, save up your money for Pine Hill. Two other quick notes: it doesn't appear to drain very well, but it was an easy walking course.

Customer Service

OK and friendly. They need to enforce a soft spike policy.

Short open course that offer little challenge to anyone. The greens are open and unguarded. The holes are very short, and long hitters can drive a lot of the par 4's.

Springfield is a good course that many do not give enough credit to. Most come to this course and blame their bad game on the course......which for many is JUST AN EXUSE! This course is unique in the way that it really tests your short game. If you play a course where the only time you use a wedge is out of the sand, come to Springfield. I can guarantee you that your short game will be tested. As for this thing on crappy putting, the people that say this, say it based on playing in the winter or late summer. Be happy their is a course open in the winter and you cant expect anything else when you're in a drought! When the warm weather comes, the course is just as green and nice as any other.

Course is chewed up because of bad golfers. You have to expect golf balls flying at you from all angles. The most common word you hear is fore, the second most common is s###. Greens are not true. The geese ar vicious, It is a course of the beginner. If you are not a beginner you will be very frustrated with this course. If it rains, don't bother going for the next two days because it will be under water.

Customer Service

The staff is very friendly except for Geoff Eobstel. He is bitter and doesn't like anyone he is also very cocky.

Kind of crappy compared to most courses. greens are lumpy and fairways get no respect from hacker golfers. sand traps are mudd and have grass in them. good beginner course. most par 4's you can hit a 5 iron then a PW. or driver then lob wedge. makes you apreciate better courses. you want sauce on your meatballs, im the number 1 stunner

Customer Service
