Course is good, I enjoyed the layout and the overall course in general. For the course alone, I would play again. My only problem with the place, and its a MAJOR problem, is the extreme rudeness of the people working there. We were playing as dusk approached, it was pretty dark, but we could still see enough and wanted to get in our last hole. Halfway down the fairway the guy closing up the cart barn drives out to meet us and yells at us that we need to come back. (he was pissed that we were still playing when he wanted to go home) We tell him we payed for the round and we're going to finish it. He finally drove away, but his lack of class ruined what was otherwise a good day. Play here if you have too, but there are much better options in the area.

Customer Service

horrible attitudes of people working there. Consider yourself warned when they treat you like crap.

Twilight golf is a real bargain- Course was in great shape for end of season. Plays long for high handicappers but it wasn't boring (many holes require tactical club selection.)

Customer Service

Very friendly, courteous and accomodating.

Shoots in the 80s

long and flat; boring after 4 holes; leave your bag at home and take only your driver, wedge, putter and five iron; goose $hit has been vacuumed up thank goodness;

Customer Service

staff is respectful; food is decent; driving range is good; putting green not so good. Starter is always in a foul mood, but tells good, ribald jokes.

In my opinion, Emerson ranks among the least desirable places to play. For the cost, you''d expect better than average course conditions and course layout. Instead, the course is boring. Many holes look similar to one another and the many fairways are muddy, even during summer time. It''s like a swamp on some holes. It''s not uncommon to lose your ball after a perfect drive. The greens are mediocre. On one occasion, the ranger threatened to kick me off the course because I veered off the cart path. He didn''t listen to my explanation that some paths can easily be mistaken for cart paths. I''ve played Emerson a number of times to give the benefit of the doubt, but at all times, the playing conditions were the same. Until I hear that conditions have improved or that it''s under new management, I won''t play there again and will not recommend it to others.

Customer Service

Front desk and restaurant personnel were friendly.

For the money, this is one of the worst golf courses I have ever played. The tees were uneven and the greens, where do I begin!!!!!! Just to put it lightly, they sucked! Number 6 was completely brown! Other than that, the only redeeming feature was the fact that the bartender at the ninteenth hole was very accomodating. He obviously knew that people playing this course would need 10 or more drinks to deal with the fact that they just played an overpriced cow pasture!
