Great layout. Very tight, tree lined all the way around. Course was in great shape. Greens could be faster but in great shape none the less. Easy to get to and a great value. Go play it. Similar Products Used: Rancocas but better |

One of the best courses for the money anywhere. Carolina style with a good mix of different holes. Greens, fairways, and hazards all well maintained. No geese problems until the last three holes. fairways 3-5 were wet, for some odd reason, in low recesses which is my only course complaint. Customer Service Members seemed annoyed that some nonmembers were invading their turf. course employees were fine. Nice facility. Similar Products Used: White Oaks |

This is in many ways a first class outfit, and in other ways it has a long way to go. First the good news: This is an average to long course with 4 par fives which is good because there are not many par 72 public courses. I walked it, my partners rode, and it is not too difficult to walk. A wide variety of holes are offered and there are challenging, but not excessively long Par 3's. Almost ever hole is well guarded by bunkers which are deep in many cases. Some of the longest fairways sand hazards (especially #10) I've seen. Moderately wide fairways which were cut close. #17 is landscaped, for whatever reason, much better than the rest of the course. Goose problems were only on the last 3 holes. We saw deer and red squirels as well. Rough was not excessive. Greens were in pretty good condition with minimal bare spot and weeds. Now the bad news: the course in general is in need of a drainage overhaul. The first 5 or 6 holes were atrocious with standing water on the fairways and in a few bunkers. The rest of the course, though, was only marginally better. I was told by my playing partners that they had never seen it this bad, so maybe a strong downpour occurred before we arrived, but I do not believe that was the case. The doglegs got to be ridiculous because the trees need to be trimmed back as the original lines are obstructed. Greens were on the spongy side, yet also a bit fast despite the wetness. Many holes are close to each other, although trees and bushes obstruct most stray shots. Overall, a descent experience and for $12 walking after 4:00 hard to be too negative. Customer Service Very nice facility: proshop, dining and locker room. Friendly employees, although I got negative vibes from the members. Cart girl was nice and drinks were only $2, as opposed to Hanover where I bought the same lemonade for $3. Groundskeepers were attempting to maintain the course. No ranger was seen all day. Similar Products Used: Similar to Rancocas, but cheaper and wetter. |

The layout is pretty good, with some interesting holes. Lots of fairway bunkers asking you to make a decision. Maintenance was only so-so with some damage on the greens. To be fair, many North East courses are suffering damage at this time and Buena is better than some other public layouts, but also worse than some that charge about the same. Recommended with a 4 for overall if in good shape, but only a 3 for value. Customer Service Wierd pro shop personel. South Jersey has it's own style I guess. |

Great layout and always in excellent shape. Super Ben Dunn deserves a lot of credit. Bring your sand wedge! Customer Service Pro shop people can be a bit strange at times. |
