One of the best courses around, fun to play!
A mix of everything, short & long par 4's,
Only problem is that it is very hard to walk. Some holes are far from each other.
Otherwise, if you like to ride, this is one course you have to try! One of my below 80 rounds here! You can take chances and hit low, or......... :) 4 stars only because I like to walk!

If you find the fairway, the condition of the course and the design both allow almost anyone a fair chance at the green. If you find the rough, you are penalized, but not severly. A few well placed traps for agressive plays. Nicely kept greens.

Two holes in particular are quite quirky - the 320 uphill par 4 12th, 90 deg dogleg left requires a layup of 200 yards to a specific area with no chance to try to knock it closer around the leg (this is the 18 handicap hole?) The 394 par 4 13th, 80 dogleg left is a blind tee shot downhill to a very small, heavily-sloped and tiny landing area (180-210 yards, 30 yards wide) and then a second shot across a deep gorge hazard to a green set into a hill (180-130 yards) (This is the 10 handicap hole?)

Former 9-hole course added-on to and re-routed. Well kept fairways and greens; greens rolled very true. Seem to use plenty of water, the rough was pretty thick - miss a fairway and some of the carry shots are tough to make. Fair holes allow for hero shots or conservative play or a fair way to get to the hole if you miss a fairway or find the woods (prominent and well developed). Carved out of some wooded hills, interesting challenge. May be tough for some to walk, but enjoyable if walked. Mid-week discounts.

Customer Service

The pro shop guy was a little surly, but a scramble had just finished starting, so I can imagine his morning wasn't easy. The starter was very pleasant and helpful! Phone tee times easy to make.
