An excellent golf course, with enough challenge and interest to keep you coming back regularly. I especially enjoy the back 9.

Great public course! Extremely well maintained, fairly open fairways, with character. Excellent greens, they putt very nicely. Tee boxes are always in good shape, traps nice as well. The setting is beautiful, along the river, and I found the staff very friendly and accomodating. Very nice clubhouse and lounge. Highly recommended!

I think this is one of the best golf courses in New England! The layout is very fair, it is always in great condition, and it is easy to find. I have played several courses in New Hampshire, and Amherst Country Club is at the top of my list. Greens fees are very reasonable and the pace of play was under 4 hours 15 minutes! This place is great for all levels of play!

Great customer service. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. It sure seems like a fun place to work, given the positive attitudes of the entire staff!

Carpet fairways and felt greens. Not too crowded for 3:00 pm in the fall.

No driving range other than that, perfect...although if may get crowded during peak months.

I've only played this course once and I plan on going back often. Very well kept and great layout. Not an overly difficult course. (shot 93) 18 holes with a cart was well worth the $39. Back nine just as good as the front.

Fairly inexpensive. #1 hole. A driveable 300+ yard par 4 when the wind is right.

Not a bad course to play. There are several holes in a row on the front 9 that are wide open (4-9 I think) and then the back is all over the place, a nice change. Fairways were OK and the greens were in good shape. Pace was good and that made the day just a bit better. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Nicely irrigated, very green. Relatively scenic. Easy to get a tee time. Nice folks.

Tee boxes a bit uneven. Pace of play a bit slow--marshalls need to exert more authority. Leagues kill any "sneak-out-of-the-office" afternoons. No driving range. Parking is crowded and maxxed out on busy days.

I have played this course off and on for about 8 years. I played there again recently after not having played it for about three years. They have made noticeable improvements in the condition of the course, as well as the greens.

The course is quite lush and green everywhere (maybe because this is the 93 wettest year in the 106 years they have kept records). Most fiarways are wide open, which lulls the Daly-wannabees of the golfing world to pull out the big sticks and go for broke. Thing is, there are some tricky parts that will lay siege to your huge drives if you don't THINK.

Pace of play is somewhat slow. They advertise a lot, and get a fair number of players out there. Leagues just about every day after three. Tee boxes a bit uneven for my tastes. Black flies and mosquitos not bad, considering the Spring. Rough is fair, though brutal in spots.

A decent value at $30 bucks for 18 (walking mid-week).
