Shoots in the 70s
The Briarwood is fabulous, the course is very well maintained and the new "black" sand is awesome. Makes the other billings course seem very boring. Requires shot making to go low but fun for all. The par 3s are exceptional. Customer Service New Pro last year Rob Jones is friendly and the entire staff was great. |

Briarwood Golf Club
This course has a great design and is very challenging. If you aren't a 12 or lower handicap you won't have much fun here, one bad tee ball on the back and it is auto-double bogey. This course really relies on the shot placement. The condition has been lacking in the last 5 years and is coming back slowly with our good moisture this summer. It will be a test of time when the next dry summer happens to see how it fares. The new golf pro isn't a people person and he is the main reason I don't recommend going there. He has raised the guest fees to $75.00 a round with a cart. That is a complete rip-off for green fees for Montana with this calibre of course plus the location. There are 4 other private courses in Billings that are twice the golf course as Briarwood that charge half the amount as a guest and around 50-60 as reciprocal for out of towners which isn't too bad. My suggestion is the stay away from the Briarwood at all costs, they don't cater to the public well and seems as if they are trying to drive the public away. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Customer Service bad bad bad, new pro is an idiot Similar Products Used: all courses around billings for last 3 years |
