Aesthethics, playability, mix of different types of holes and shots, forgiving yet challenging.

None that I can think of...excpet you must know a member if you want to play it :)

The course is awesome! I played it a few times in the early 1990's before Max Maxwell's renovation design in 1999 and I can't believe how much better it is! This now has to be one of the best courses in Mississippi and one of the best times I have ever had on a golf course! The site is "Augusta-like" with huge pines and rolling fairways and now the greens are large and fun to putt. I think they said they grassed them with TifEagle during the renovation. They putt perfectly...almost as good as bent!

By the way, the ratings on this site base putting on "least diificult" to "most difficult" but I don't think that's a good indication. I gave it 3 stars because the greens were great...not too hard not too easy. I would give it 5 stars for quality of the greens!

This is truly a world-class course! A must play if you know a member!
