The layouts are supurb, requiring the use of every club in the bag. A terrific value and bang for the buck.

Tee boxes are often a bit spare and some of the greens are sometimes well-worn.

The Pine 18 is a great representative of an older, challenging course with wide fairways and huge greens. The Cardinal 18 is a modern, must-play with narrow fairways and medium greens.

Diamondhead is a retirement place and a lot of retired people are members. the members like the greens rolling a smudge below average or average. the members decide on how the greens should roll and they wont let them be cut to be played fast. Diamondhead could be looked at as a prospect for a tourney stop on the Buy.com if they could make a few adjustments without the members opinion.

The Pine Course: very good and very challeging...cant play a better course on the coast of Mississippi when these greens are fast and dry! this course demands the best of you and is pretty The Cardinal Course: this course is a little easier than the pine course and is very fun. The scenery is pretty and you wont find a better signature hole (the 15th)When the greens and fairways are dry and fast, this is a must play
