Two Courses for differing abilities. Many different things for families to do at the resort including swimming, hiking, health club, tennis etc.

Location is about 30 miles from Traverse City.

I have been a member at Crystal Mountain for over 2 years now and it is the best investment you can make. The Mountain Ridge course is a championship course in every way from the back tees. They are several challenging risk reward holes and it is a great test of golf. The greens are becoming better each year with the new greenskeeper and should be very fast and smooth rolling judging by my first round this year. The Ridge is a very good "Northern Michigan" course cut right out of the mountain and through the woods. There are elevated tees on several holes and water comes into play on about 4-5 holes. The Betsie Valley course is a good feel good course, but also holds some challenges from the back tees. It is much shorter than Mountain Ridge at about 6000 yds from the back and under 6000 from the whites. It is a good course and would play well after a morning 18 on the Ridge.
