Classic Donald Ross design. Small greens and natuaral elevation changes that create some very nice holes. The conditioning was excellent. Greens run around 9. Course design places a premium on acuracy if you want to go low. Great for the high handicap golfer because if you miss the fairway you will find the ball. Lots of trees, but the grass is cut under the trees.So you always have a shot, you just need to be able to hit crative shots.

Have played other Ross course including Oakland Hills. Liked this the best. Oakland has great greens but you can spray it when it is not in torunament condition. This required more accuracy.

Great conditioning, tough but fair. Don''t be above the hole, greens are very fast. Traditional, classic course. Will test every part of your game.

Private, small driving range.

This is a classic Donald Ross course. Very challenging with small difficult greens. Conditions were excellent. I recommend taking a caddie to truly enjoy the course. The course has tree lined fairways and many elevation changes. The par 5''s are your best birdie opportunities. Slope and course ratings are misleading, this is a tough but fair course. A true test of golf.
