Great Course .I thought it was better than Bucks Run and that is pretty good

The course looks pristine. Much time and effort is put into the top-notch grounds keeping. However, I did not feel welcome in the club house and on the course. The staff has a 'we are more important than the world' attitude. I've been here a few times hoping it would get better, but no. I can't believe greens fees were in the $120 range when the course first opened. Since then, they had to drop their prices to half due to many comperable and/or better courses around the area for much less. To top it off, they are now allowing leagues to slow play with below average golfers. Pohl Cat is an average golf course, way over priced, and they know it. If you want average golf that looks nice with a lot of money to waste, the Pohl Cat is for you.

Despite the fact that the course is generally very nice and fun to play I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK. Expensive to play, that's to be expected for a 1st class facility, but the fun was ruined by course rangers that can at best be called obnoxiuos. Played the course with my wif and another couple. Tee times are very tight. We spent a LOT of time waiting for the golfers ahead of us. We were harassed at least 4 times on the front 9 to speed up play despite the fact that we were obviously waiting on players ahead of us and told him so. His response was that he had sped up the golfers several holes up and that we wouldn't be able to maintain pace so we better pick it up. I guess we should have hit into the group ahead. The supposed speed up never materialized but that didn't stop the moron from continuing his periodic tirade. We finally told him to get off our back until he had a legitimate reason to bother us, we obviously could not play faster and wait at the same time. When you spend a decent buck to play this kind of treatment is inexcusable.
