Two nice tracks here at Lakeview. The North is considered the more premium of the two. Neither, however is kept in great shape. Greens are mowed 4x/week, sometimes not on Sunday. Pins which should be changed 4-6 x a week are found to be in the same position for weeks on end. Bunkers are frequently neglected.
All this is too bad because both courses are challenging and offer plenty of tee options for all levels of golfers.
But the mainenence is just like the service. This place closes its proshop by 7:00pm nightly (unheard of in golf). Same with bar/grill the smart duffer will go into Lexington (1mile) for after round festivities.
Nice golf courses, but generally not a great golf experience.

Condition, scenery, inventive layout and best of all, the price and ease of getting a tee time. This is still a hidden gem.

The 16th is really tricked up - too gimmicky for me. Staff is a little lacking

Two 18 hole courses here - the south is an old traditional layout, the north is a new, resort style. Both have 5 star scenery. I prefer the north for the beauty, challange and conditioning. Mixed bag of holes - some are out in the open while other are cut through the trees in the "up north" style. Keep it in play and you can score here. Water on a few hole provide a nice risk-reward opportunity.
