Played for my first time May 24th weekend. Shot a nice easy 74, greens very tough, absolutely loved the layout. Course was in great condition for this early in the season. Overall experience was at the top of my list. Nice surprise.

Very friendly staff right from bag pickup, pro shop, etc, etc. Loved the BBQ at the turn.

I played there this morning with my 13 year-old and had a blast! I used my Michigan Playbook two-for-one (some courses charge you for two people riding a cart so you save "some" money. The Loon's pro charged us $50 for the two of us riding (no extra charge)unlimited range balls were included!? I played from the blue and shot a 39 on the front with a bogie and a double (14 putts). Alex shot a 50. Then he turned around his game, chipped in for a birdie on #13 and shot a 44. I stopped playing from the blue after my 6 long iron/ wood into a par 4 and scored a 43 still with 14 putts but no GIRS!?? If you can hit #9 from the blue (scorecard says 194) you deserve a muscle tee shirt ; ) I hit a decent 5 wood I usually hit 195 - 210 and was short. Chipped to within 10 feet and hit the putt, but this course makes you use all of your clubs and think! Great experience in a retiree condo area, but beautiful course and friendly folks working there.

Customer Service

Above-and-beyond. Get a Dowker burger or 1/4 lb hot dog. Wow! Course also has specials on Sunday afternoons so check their website for more.
