The course was in good shape, and the greens were very soft and played true. In my opinion, this course is a little cheap off the tees, and requires a "target golf" approach on many holes. There are several holes where an iron off the tee is the best play, and a driver can end up lost even when dead straight. I heard this course was redesigned to be more forgiving, but it hardly appears so.
Overall, it's not bad but I would recommend bringing some extra golf balls for you and your playing partners because you are gonna lose a few.

This course is one of the best courses I've played in Michigan. The course has a great view of Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan. This is one of the most unique course I have played. It is difficult.
