I've played this course many times - it is beautiful and very well maintained. The narrow, tree-lined fairways with small (and usually quick) greens make it particularly challenging. The course plays very long for women - so be prepared to use your fairway woods frequently. The par-3 holes range from 145-180 yards (which are pretty long compared to most courses). The club is currently installing a new state-of-the-art practice facility to include a new 9,000 sf putting green, a new 300+ yard driving range, and a 4-acre short game practice area - to be completed sometime in early July '04. So if you play after June, be sure to get there early to take advantage. If you get a chance to have lunch or dinner in the clubhouse - do so. The food is excellent and the dining facilities are comfortable with great views of the 1st & 9th holes. I highly suggest playing here if given the opportunity.

A fair test

You feel like cows might be grazing on the next fairway over.

This course wants to be like the great old ones but can't quite shake the feeling that it was once a farm. Wide fairways and big greens. Better hit it long.
