Shoots in the 80s
Golfpac sent us here at an outrageous cost of $76.00 (eight of us)each. We played the course on March 2, 2005. The greens were hard, your best bet was to land short and run it up. When we mentioned to the golf pro he said that we were the first ones to complain and that his members thought the greens were fine. Even a high sand wedge to the front of the green would bounce off the back. Customer Service The pro could care less if you ever came back (and we go to the area every year). Horrible course that used to be great. The conditions of this course have been unacceptable the last 2 times I've played it. Links club members pay around $30 to play. Good value for what this course could be and should be. Incredible layout with trouble all around. I used to love playing this course but now I can say I will not return until they improve their conditions. Several greens are unplayable and construction is taking place all around the course detracting from what should be an enjoyable experience. Customer Service Acceptable. |

We travelled down during Final Four April 2003 and played @ $120 a round. 4-6 greens were shocking, 3 were unplayable where we had to move balls around. There was no place on the green that could not have been impacted by dirt patches on the green. Also, there was a tremendous amount of construction and mud piles etc... throughout the course giving anything but a calm golfing experience. Net of it was the course is currently worth about $40 a round. Customer Service good |

Overall a great course, especially for the value. If you become a member of Links Club, you are guaranteed the lowest rate available. Just resently, I played the course in the middle of the day, on a weekend, for $29. For the money, probably the best course in New Orleans. The carts have a GPS system that is extemely helpful. Customer Service Great Similar Products Used: Wonderful practice facilitoes. you can practice putting, chipping and bunker shots. Not to mention the spacious driving range. |

Links-style course. The wind will get you. My favorite hole is #11 - a short par-4 that requires a good iron shot off the tee to set up the approach to a shallow elevated green. Customer Service Very good. |

Shoot in the 90s
One of the more popular courses in the New Orleans / Southeastern LA area. One of the few courses with extensive mounding and generous movement to the land and greens. Not for the faint of heart, duffers like me bring plenty of balls. Challenging layout with lots of water and lots of trouble everywhere. Plus it's near Lake Pontchartrain and the winds will affect the course almost daily. Signature holes - #8 , long par 4, especially if north wind blows, into a narrow green with sand and grass bunkers right and water hard left; and #15, mid length par 3 completely over water to a shallow green. Again into the wind can play 3-4 clubs longer. Nice finishing hole. Customer Service Always feel welcome and staff is very helpful Similar Products Used: Nice shop, ample space on range |
