LOVE THIS COURSE!! This course is a good challenge and will make you a better player. Fast greens, and a well maintained course. Holes 1, 2, & 18 are great holes. For personal reasons I do hate #4 with a passion! A great place to be a member at.

East Ridge is a challenging older golf course with relatively tight fairways. Water comes into play on 15 holes, either lakes or creeks. Bermuda rough and over 30 fairway and greenside bunkers add to difficulty. Some elevation changes. Greens are bermuda, some with fairly severe slopes. Fairways are also bermuda. Beginners and high handicappers will be severely challenged and need to bring a lot of water balls. More accomplished golfers will find a fair and satisfying challenge. The 3 par 5's are not too long and are all good birdie opportunities. 8 of the ll par 4's are under 375 yards, but tight. The short par 4's do not necessarily require a driver on the tee shot and may be played with long irons or fairway metals, even from the back tees. The par 3's are all long and difficult, each over 175. The course is well maintained, including new bunkers in the last 2 years, with good green and tee conditions. The course is easy to walk (except in the brutal summer heat), the holes being close together, and many members are dedicated walkers. A 4-hour pace of play is encouraged by the golf professional and greens committee. I am a 6 handicap, have been a member for 4 years and have enjoyed playing the course. Good pool, tennis facility, grill, and Sunday brunch. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is informal and the members are friendly.
