This course is a good course for both the beginer and the experienced. Its not an extremly hard course but with water and some bunkers it can be chanlenging. There isnt much rough it is mainly just drit and some of the water hazards are hard to see fromf ar away

Versatility for the average golfer. Its a good course for the average golfer and also for the low handicap golfer from the championship tees.

Not much in the way of sidehill lies unless you hit an errant shot onto the levy.

Having played this course many times in the late 1990's, and also having been a member of the grounds crew I think this is a pretty good course. Granted it is fairly flat, it does have quite a few challenges played from the championship tees. There is plenty of water on this course due to canals along one side of the course and a creek down the other side. There are several ponds throughout the course that add difficulty as well.

It has 27 holes and it really is a fun course to play.
Inexpensive for what you get.

Located next to a busy and noisy highway and railroad tracks. It is also near a Naval Airstation which constantly has jets flying over the course. If noise bothers you while playing, do not play here.

Every time I play here I have a good time. This is a 27 hole course which is perfect for handling the people traffic. The course maintenence is average for southern Louisiana courses. There is a good mix of distances for the holes. It also has both tight and wide open fairways.
I really enjoy playing this course.
