Part links style, part traditional. All fairways and greens are bent grass. Course conditon is usually very good. Recently the bunkers have gotten to the point that they are horrid however. They appear to just be ignored by the staff, which is unfortunate because they are very strategically placed and come into play on the majority of holes. They are now beset by weeds, rocks, and very little sand. In most instances they are only marginally better than hitting from hardpan. I doubt I'll be back until I hear they have addressed the problem. Personally I have no issue with bunker placements, and the associated risk/reward but if bunkers get to the condition that Players Club has let them exist, it can ruin the appeal of the entire course.
