Not enough water and sand trouble.

A course which provides a different round of golf each time played. Can make you feel like a GREAT player as well as a HORRIBLE player. One course in Des Moines which makes you think before you hit it. Newcomers enter with caution. Not a better scenery in town. Huge trees and unlimited magistry. A course that has built and will continue to build tradition.

Atmosphere-clubhouse, lots of trees.

Putting green not great and there is no room for a practice range. Need to work on conditioning.

Toughest and best muni in Des Moines. Very hilly and tough to walk. Added water a few years ago and better, but still needs to work on tee boxes and rough. Too many bare spots. This course has lots of charm and a test for anyone.
