Variety, can't (or shouldn't) hit driver on every hole.

Sometimes slow on weekends, but weekdays are a breeze.

This is a very fun, and very challenging course. It is not typical for Iowa. Every shot challenges your abilities. There is trouble on almost every hole, a variety of tee shots and approach shots, and water running throughout the course.

This course is maintained very well, the rough is thick, and mid summer the greens are quite fast. An average golfer can have a rough go of this course, and I recommend having plenty of balls on hand.
