I learned on this course. It's minutes from my house. I have been ruined for all other courses. Every place I play, I compare to Martinsville and none have come close.

Not enough weekends a year to play here!

BEAUTIFUL! That best describes this course. Once you leave the first tee, it only gets better. The fairways are just wide enough to play and narrow enough to keep you thinking. Beautiful wooded fairways and greens make for very scenic and fun golf. A couple of Par 5s easily reachable in 2, and I'm not a great golfer. The 18th is a blast, just don't go right! If you're in Indiana, you NEED to play this course!

Hills, undulating greens, water, a 4 hour or less round, and great hosts.

Length. Most golfers want 6500 + yard courses. At 6100+ yards, many low handicap golfers would consider this too short.

Though I died and went to golfers heaven. I absolutely loved this course. This is a traditional course and relativly short(about 6100 yards)for most golfers. For myself, I played terrible, but had one of the best golfing experiences of my life. This course was set in a hilly area of central Indiana with plenty of views of the countryside.
The staff were extremely helpful, the rates were modest, and the course was in great shape. If you love to play golf for the enjoyment of the game, this is the place to be.
